Enel North America selected POWER Engineers as it development engineer for two binary geothermal plants developed at two resource sites in the Great Basin desert of Nevada. Stillwater was one of the two plants.  POWER Engineers was responsible for initial feasibility and conceptual design studies and design engineering for the 47 MW four-unit Stillwater plant. Both plants use isobutane as the working fluid and employ air-cooled condensers.  The Stillwater plant was designed to interconnect at 60 kV with an existing site substation.
