POWER combines Kansas City offices
Move brings 155 employees of the engineering consulting firm to a single campus.
HAILEY, Idaho (October 11, 2018) ‒ POWER Engineers Incorporated’s (POWER) two Kansas City offices are combining into its Overland Park campus, a property acquired with the addition of Sega, Inc. in 2017.
The combined office will be located at 16041 Foster St., and the 41 Power Delivery staff now in the Lenexa office will be in the Overland Park location by Nov. 19.
POWER first opened a Kansas City location in 2010 with just three staff and in 2015 moved to much larger quarters in Lenexa to accommodate a staff of 26 providing project management, project engineering, program management and construction management services. They provide these services in the areas of high voltage transmission and distribution lines and substations, high voltage underground lines, and SCADA and Analytical Services.
In 2017, POWER acquired the former Kansas City-based Sega, a consulting and engineering firm that focused on power plant and electrical distribution services. The Overland Park office currently houses a 114-person staff.
